Paladin
PvP Guide

Hi, good
.
Paladins are some of the mightiest warriors in the popular game
World of Warcraft. Because they are a hybrid class and much
desired by groups, they find themselves in battle often. You
probably know that plenty of this fighting is Player vs. Player
(PvP), so a Paladin PvP Guide might be what
you need.
Paladins are unique in that they will be asked to
perform melee fighting tasks, but even more often they are
depended upon to outlast the enemy… but more on that later. For
those players who have decided to spec the Retribution talent
tree, they will greatly increase their damage per second
(DPS).

This type of damage is partial to two-handed
weapons such as Axes and Swords. Groups also look to the
Paladin to provide what is known as Sanctified Retribution,
which increases each member’s damage by 3%.
Warriors aren’t the only tanks on Azeroth.
Paladins also make excellent tanks. They are able to wear the
heaviest armor available and use Spiritual Attunement in
battle. A great benefit of Spiritual Attunement is that it is a
passive ability, meaning no mana is used and it is always in
effect; therefore, it does not need activation. It provides a
certain percentage of mana each time the Paladin is healed,
depending on ability level.
Paladins easily assume the role of main tank
healer because they are mana-efficient and possess low-threat
healing spells. Though this efficient healing ability is
advantageous, Paladins may only heal one target at a time.
As you may have seen in other Paladin guides, it
is worth mentioning in a Paladin PvP Guide that this class is
particularly effective when battling Demons or the Undead. Some
abilities they use against these enemies include Exorcism, Holy
Wrath, and Turn Evil.
In PvP, Paladins are most renowned for their
aptitude to outlast the enemy. They utilize plate armor, can
heal themselves and their friends, and are virtually
invulnerable every few minutes, making them a worthy adversary
difficult to wear down. When the opponent focuses its attention
on the Paladin, he or she can withstand damage while healing
other group members.
Some players are fond of the ability to dual wield
when in combat. Paladins are incapable of this skill, but make
up for it with the use of heavy, two-handed weapons such as
Swords and Axes. These armaments can deliver heavy damage,
especially when used in conjunction with the Retribution talent
tree.
In battle, Paladins may also employ the Hammer of
Justice to prevent casters from using spells. Just be sure that
someone doesn’t stun the opposing player first, so that it
isn’t wasted. The Hammer of Wrath is also available to the
Paladin, but it is more effective for pulling than for damage,
so it is recommended to use only on an enemy with less than 20%
health remaining.
Use this Paladin PvP Guide to familiarize yourself
with what you will be able to accomplish in a PvP setting.
Then, go forth into battle and drive your group toward
victory!
I hope you found this Paladin PvP Guide
helpful.
All the best
Adam
