World
of Warcraft Fishing Guide

Hi, good .
Azeroth is a big world, and there is so much to do out there!
If you’re going to survive in the dog-eat-dog realms of WoW,
you will need to learn a couple of professions, and a World of
Warcraft Fishing Guide will help you get familiar with that
particular profession.
A secondary profession, Fishing is basically a gathering
skill, similar to Herbalism or Mining. If you have ever been
fishing in the real world, you know that much time is spent by
a lake or pond with a fishing pole in your hand.

The same goes for Fishing in World of Warcraft. Once you
become adept at right-clicking at just the right moment when
your bobber goes underwater, you will start to snag fish, eels,
and squid for eating or sale.
Increasing your cooking and fishing skills simultaneously is
recommended, because you will not only catch more valuable
animals from the water, but you will receive more benefit from
them with higher cooking skill.
Fish can bring in extra income at the Auction House. Deviate
fish are noteworthy for earning good prices. Those fish that
are used as reagents by Alchemists are also sought after.
Occasionally, you may find valuable items that are only
found while fishing.
You probably don’t need a World of Warcraft Fishing Guide to
tell you that Fishing is a terrific way to unwind and get away
from it all. For those moments when you are tired of slugging
it out with a monster or other players, Fishing provides a
relaxing pastime to just sit and let your mind wander. Some
players tend to shy away from Fishing, however, because it
leads to downtime and does relatively little in improving
player statistics.
Trainers are necessary when learning professions in World of
Warcraft. To locate a fishing trainer, simply look around lakes
and streams. Many non-player characters hanging around water
are trainers or merchants. If you simply can’t find one, ask
around. Once you learn to fish, find a basic fishing pole and
head out to the water!
As you improve your fishing skills, you will want to improve
the quality of the pole you use. The Auction House is a good
place to check for better poles.
Older World of Warcraft Fishing Guides would mention how to
move up in skill levels through the use of books. Patch 3.1 has
rendered these books unnecessary, and now all levels of fishing
can learned from a trainer.
Most professions require that you continue to accomplish
more difficult tasks to increase your skill level. This isn’t
the case with Fishing. Every catch moves you closer to the next
level. Skill ups are dependent only on the number of fish you
catch. It is therefore in your best interest to find an easy
fishing pool and grind away.
Don’t forget the bait! You will need to buy better bait for
better bonuses from the fish. You will also need to reapply it,
because it wears off after a period of time, so get your wallet
ready.
Maybe a World of Warcraft Fishing Guide is not as valuable
as patience when learning this profession, but it sure is a
nice place to start.
I hope you found this World of Warcraft Fishing Guide
helpful.
All the best
Adam
