Hi, good . Throughout your travels in Azeroth in the online game World of Warcraft, you might find yourself desiring of the Spellcaster’s healing ability, the Warrior’s rage and combat skills, and the stealth of the Rogue. As you will see in this WoW Druid Guide, you can have the best of all worlds with the Druid!

The Druid is a shapeshifting, hybrid class capable of taking on various forms. Any hybrid class needs to specialize in order to be effective, including the Druid; therefore, as valuable and versatile as the Druid is, it will take some time and practice to fully capture this class’s abilities.

As mentioned, the much of the versatility is derived from the ability to assume various roles through the utilization of different shapes. This is quite useful in battle, but bear in mind that the Druid may only perform roles one at a time. As a player of the Druid, you must become skilled at recognizing different situations and adapting your Druid accordingly, often in the blink of an eye. Things happen fast in combat.

Druids have certain core abilities such as one multiple-target damage spell and three single-target damage spells. They also have the skills to perform four single-target and one multiple target healing spells, as well as provide a strong buff beneficial to all classes. In this manner, they fit the role of a Priest. Though not as advanced in healing power as a Priest, the Druid still fills the role adequately.

But the core abilities that any WoW Druid Guide needs to mention are the animal forms a Druid is able to don, and the attributes of those forms. A Druid may assume the form of a Cat which is equipped to deliver damaging moves much like those of a Rogue. Druids may also become a Bear, providing the armor and health of a Warrior. Eventually, once you gain experience and complete quests, you will even earn the use of a Sea Lion form!

Due to the curses and poisons a solo Druid or a guild will encounter, the Druid’s power to cleanse these nasty items is quite useful.

Because the Druid is quite the talented class, available races are severely limited. Only a Night Elf or Tauren may become a Druid.

Also limiting is the Druid’s inability to wear anything but cloth or leather armor and they cannot carry a shield. The Bear form, however, provides the same protection as a shield. A Druid is also incapable of dual wielding, but his role is not that of a Warrior. The healing and spellcasting abilities compensate for the lack of battle skills.

Some players avoid the Druid, claiming that is far too difficult to level up with one. This is not necessarily true, because with specialization and command of the animal forms and spellcasting abilities, the Druid fills many roles allowing for leveling up. Due to the aforementioned versatility, a Druid can even level up faster than several other classes when properly used.

This WoW Druid Guide has hopefully shed some light on one of, if not the, most versatile class on Azeroth. Feel free to choose this flexible class for your character. Don’t worry, the levels will come.

I hope you found this WoW Druid Guide helpful.
