WoW
Hunter Guide

Hi, good . Out of
all of the character classes available in World of Warcraft,
Hunters are the sharpshooters. They possess many range fighting
capabilities, and a WoW Hunter Guide will
help familiarize you with this deadly class.
Being range fighters, Hunters know their way around bows and
rifles. Even more impressive, due to their instinctive
connection with nature, they are able to tame certain animals
which they in turn train as effective companions in combat. A
great deal of damage can be dealt with a Hunter. Not only does
the Hunter’s aptitude with distance weapons allow them to hit
monsters from a distance, their loyal pets also hand out
damaging blows. The pets can also manage monsters’ aggro.

Hunters are also effective trap setters. This helps with
crowd control during battle. The combination of range fighting,
pets, and traps makes the Hunter a superb puller in group
combat.
Additionally, if enemies attempt to flee, the Hunter has to
simply pull out the rifle or bow and take the fight right back
to the turn-tail.
Though primarily range fighters, Hunters do possess some
melee ability. You will never confuse them with a Rogue or
Warrior, but they can deal some damage at close range. The
purpose of these melee abilities isn’t necessarily to inflict
damage anyway. It is to deliver some damage to the enemy while
opening up distance, where the Hunter can do true damage.
Since pets were mentioned in the WoW Hunter Guide, it is
worth acknowledging a few. Bears can act as a tank, while owls
and cats are designed for damage per second (DPS) functions.
Pets can be equipped with a wide variety of armor, stamina, and
resistance buffs, allowing for much customization. The
challenge is your ability as a player to tame, train, and
effectively use these pets.
Pets are tamed at Level 10 upon completion of a quest chain.
A Hunter’s stable can hold five pets, but only one may be
active at a time.
Because the Hunter must be agile enough to properly handle a
bow or rifle, this class may wear only Cloth and Leather Armor
until Level 40, at which point they may wear Mail Armor with
training.
Traps are a useful tool in the Hunter’s arsenal. There are
five types of traps; some for crowd control and others deliver
damage. They may not be used simultaneously and will exist for
one minute. Every trap has a 30 second cooldown and takes 2
seconds to arm. This is why it is important to recognize the
combat situation and make proper judgments based on the time it
takes to set and use traps. Otherwise, you will take on some
damage.
Weapons at the Hunter’s disposal are:
- Axes
- Daggers
- Bows
- Crossbows
- Fist Weapons
- Guns
- Polearms
- Staves
- Swords
- Thrown
- Two-handed Axes
- Two-handed Swords

This WoW Hunter Guide has shown the versatility of one of
Azeroth’s most skilled classes. Use this information to decide
if the Hunter is right for you.

All the best
