WoW
Warlock Guide

Hi, good
. One of the elements of World of
Warcraft that makes it so captivating is the variety of
character classes. A class that many players do not turn to
immediately is the warlock. Although his hand-to-hand combat
skills are somewhat lacking, as you will see in this
WoW warlock guide, there is much more to this
class than the lack of melee skills.
Warlocks are the masters of
shadow and flame magic. They are also able to summon demons
from the Twisting Nether. Warlocks differ from the other damage
per second (DPS) spell casters due to their power to transform
health into mana.

Don’t forget, as I've just
said, they can also summon demons, and they have the ability to
summon the widest variety. Some players are attracted to the
mage’s sustained burst damage. With the proper gear and specs
however, a warlock’s burst damage is comparable to that of the
mage.
Remember all of that time
spent grinding and auctioning for gold because you couldn’t
wait to purchase a mount? No, this WoW warlock guide didn’t
suddenly become a gold guide. It is here to let you know that
warlocks possess the ability to summon magical mounts. All
classes but death knights, flight form druids, and paladins
must buy their own.
When choosing a warlock, be
aware that you as a player must be able to multi-task. You must
fight multiple targets while keeping track of your minion. You
must be able to create cast rotations in the blink of an eye
for maximum effect in some situations and be a careful aggro
manager.
As you can probably tell from
this WoW warlock guide, the warlock’s aptitude with shadow and
fire, coupled with the ability to summon demons and mounts
makes them a master of the dark arts. One of these arts that
makes the warlock attractive is the ability to drain souls and
use them as shards. How many of your friends can do
that?
If you’re looking for heavy
metal armor, look elsewhere. The warlock is able to wear only
cloth armor. Though they may not be able to absorb much damage
with armor, the attribute of stamina helps balance this
shortcoming. This stamina is derived from the previously
mentioned ability to transform health into mana using Life Tap.
The attribute of intellect is filled by this ability as
well.
Regarding minions, the Imp is
the first type a warlock is able to summon. The Imp can deliver
damage and eventually provide mana at higher levels. Though the
warlock may not be the best melee fighter, the character can
still solo tank effectively with the use of another
minion.
This doesn’t mean that the
warlock is the tank per se, but at Level 10, he can learn to
summon the Voidwalker, which is the tank. Over time, the
warlock can also summon the Felguard, Felhunter, Infernal,
Succubus, and the Doomguard, which is the most powerful
minion.
Hopefully, this WoW warlock
guide has shed some light on this very dark character. Once you
get past the melee skills (we can’t all be fighters), you will
see quite the valuable class.
I really hope you
found this WoW Warlock Guide helpful.
All the best
Adam
